Case introduction 案例简介
Peru’s food industry is highly developed. Processes such as olive oil pressing, winemaking, canned fruits and vegetables, and dairy production require a continuous supply of stable, clean process steam for raw material cooking, sterilization, cleaning, concentration, and heat preservation. In recent years, driven by fluctuations in South America energy prices and stricter emissions targets, food companies have accelerated the shift from fossil fuels to local renewable resources, prioritizing on-site by-products (such as olive pits and pruning wood chips) as boiler fuel.
YUYAN Boiler Solution:
To address the client’s fuel structure dominated by crushed olive pits and wood chips, and the stringent steam quality requirements in food processing, YUYAN provided SZW series 6 t/h double-drum reciprocating grate biomass steam boilers.
Core Configurations and Technical Highlights:
1. Double-drum water-tube design
High heat-transfer efficiency with excellent steam-water separation. Stable steam quality suitable for hygienic demands in food processes.
2. Reciprocating grate combustion system
Ensures a loose, well-turned fuel bed with controllable residence time, accommodating particle-size variations of olive pits, wood chips, and other bulk biomass.
Why YUYAN:
1. Industry experience: Deep expertise in steam applications for food and agro-processing, with a solid understanding of steam quality and cleanliness.
2. Biomass specialization: Proven end-to-end solutions for bulk biomass fuels with mature reciprocating grate, air distribution, and feeding systems.
3. Delivery capability: Robust manufacturing and quality control system with extensive overseas project experience.
4. Service assurance: Localized service network and remote O&M platform for faster response and higher availability.

Customer feedback
Our YUYAN Boiler sales manager visited Peru to communicate on-site, conducting a detailed survey of our fuel storage and handling conditions as well as steam demand by workshop. The project progressed smoothly from contract signing to commissioning. The five SZW biomass boilers run stably, provide steam quality that meets food-processing requirements, and show better-than-expected adaptability to bulk fuels like crushed olive pits and wood chips. The after-sales team responds quickly, and both training and O&M support are in place. It has been an efficient and trustworthy cooperation.
